About Bree:
A social worker by training, an advocate by faith, an outdoors enthusiast by nature, & a graphic designer by passion.
From an early age, Bree was captivated by people’s stories, always eager to understand the life experiences that shaped them. While her passion in school was graphic design, and she initially dreamed of a career in the field, her path took an unexpected turn after a transformative gap year serving alongside people and programs in South Africa. This experience sparked a deep commitment to social work—a field where she could channel her desire to serve and create lasting impact.
Bree went on to earn her BSW and MSW, specializing in social and economic development. Through her work in Anderson, IN; the Northwest Province of Zambia; and St. Louis, MO, she has built relationships, strengthened families, and advocated for community-driven change. While deeply engaged in social work, she never left behind her love for design. Instead, she found ways to merge the two—using her skills to create maps, flyers, policy briefs, and other materials that amplify important messages and drive change.
In 2018 she founded Designs for Impact, where social work and design intersect. She is passionate about crafting visuals that empower change makers, ensuring their messages are not just seen, but truly understood. With a deep respect for individual stories and an understanding of the systems that shape lives, Bree brings a rare blend of insight and creativity to her work.
